Hello there, I’m Marissa Constant, a Florida Attorney and the Managing Director of Constant Law, P.A. Before starting Constant Law, P.A., I spent four years as a Public Defender, where I built strong courtroom and litigation skills and learned how to advocate strategically under pressure. That experience shaped how I practice today. As a solo practitioner, I bring that same focus and determination to every client while offering the personalized attention larger firms often cannot provide. I stay involved from start to finish and make sure my clients never feel overlooked or uninformed.
My work centers on helping construction professionals avoid disputes, address payment issues, review and negotiate contracts, and resolve conflicts efficiently when problems arise. I also advise small businesses and property owners on formations, agreements, transactions, and risk management. While I continue to accept select personal injury and criminal defense matters, my primary focus remains construction, business, contract, and real estate law for clients who want proactive legal support, not last-minute damage control.
I stay actively involved in the legal community and serve as a member of the Wilson Inn of Court. I am also a member of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida, where I serve as co-chair of the Community Outreach and Engagement Committee. These roles keep me connected, informed, and committed to serving both my clients and the broader community.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, collecting candles, and spending time with family and friends.
